#PROTOOLS 12 CANT FIND WAVES V9 PRO#
So only when UAD reverbs were de-activated together with Pultech Pro and Harrison., errors went away, and non-UAD plugins were opening just fine. I figured this out by de-activating tracks one by one and trying to insert a plugin (Waves or McDSP or others). In my case these offender-plugins (UAD) are: UAD Pultech Pro, UAD EMT 250 and Lexicon 224 reverbs, UAD SC & RS reverbs, VOG, Realverb-Pro, Harrison EQ, Helios EQ(sometimes), 1081 EQ(sometimes), Trident EQ(sometimes). Update: it looks like when certain UAD plugins are present in a session they cause other non-UAD plugins to glitch and throw DAE 7054 error and Runtime errors and Access Violation errors all over the place. Oh, when testing, i intentionally tried to make the UAD plugs glitch by inserting and removing the plugins on a channel as quickly as i could. So its neither Waves now nor IK (bc i havent even installed any of IK stuff yet) that are cuasing the problem. Then i removed Waves plugins from "plugins" folder but UAD plugs still give me the errors. Errors of UAD plugs are: "access violation occured." and "can't find cs.dll". And the problem is still here, errors still pop up when trying to insert UAD plugins, in particular CS and RS reverbs, DS delays, Helios EQ.

(I did not install any IK Multimedia stuff, nor iTunes, antivirus, none of that yet). Re-installed Windows, updated BIOS, went thru Avid-recomended PC otimization, installed Pro Tools, then UAD2, then Waves, along with McDSP, Arturia, and PSP. Thanks for your reply Zsarbomba! Well, after several nights of frustration and constant moving of plugins in and out of "plugins" folder along with firing up Pro Tools after each plugin move, i decided to completely re-install Windows 7. Has anyone ran into this problem? Why do UAD plugs conflict with Waves?

A complete uninstall/reinstall of UAD2 drivers and software didnt help. Seems like plugins from these three manufacturers dont live happily together on my system. When i remove both Waves and IK, then UAD plugs work nice and smooth. When i remove all Waves plugs and leave UAD and IK, UAD plugs give DAE 7054 error. But when both Waves and UAD plugs are present, then i run into this error, usually Waves plugs give me this "access violation" error, while UAD plugins (not all, only some) either don't load (just a grey header/top of the plugin) or give me DAE 7054 error. When i remove all the UAD plugs from the "plugins" folder, then Waves plugs work fine. When i go to C/program files(86)/common files/digidesign/DAE/plugins and remove IK plugs, then UAD plugs seem to work fine but Waves plugs still give this same error when inserting a plugin. this happens with my Waves, UAD, and IK Multimedia Plugins. When i try to insert a plugin i frequently get an error "access violation occurred, unable to read location 0x00000000". Carbon Copy Cloner is cheap and so is an external drive to clone to.Hello everyone, im new on this forum, hope to find some help. This is why you should have a working clone of your system. You're going to need the offline installer for your W9 plugins - the job can't be done from within the latest WC. You might want to delete everything Waves and then reinstall everything. I tried deleting my Waves Prefs, dragging InstalledAAXPlugins to desktop and then loading a new session and it didn't work. I'm behind with clients right now because I can't find a solution and Waves is taking their time. This is extremely frustrating because I emailed them 3 days ago and they just got back to me with an email. They show up in Waves Central) and then run the Version Organizer, which I did to no avail. I've emailed their support and the only thing they had me try was to make sure I have the plugins installed (which they are. I updated Waves Central and now Pro Tools won't load my V9 plugins (Native Power Pack bundle with L1, DeEsser, TrueVerb, etc).
